I went down to the reh. place in the city (manhattan) and sang (rather yelled or screamed) some sweet notes on our first complete track of my new band: Sleep to Death.

getting busy in April

Im getting busy with the tees and with the photos too. I had to get a hard drive haha. Some of my fave pics from April...i went to the Prospect park, the Brooklyn Museum, the Brooklyn Zoo in the Prospect park, the Botanical garden by the same zoo, the Brooklyn Library, visited the market at Grand Army Plaza and went to the Bronx Zoo. So yes i took some pics..and they all coming up at the 1Aeon flickr. 

Did i mention, that my new band Sleep to Death is about to start playing shows, it's pretty exciting too.

Converge

We went to see Converge (6th or 7th times..) and man!! they still got it..

it will make a nice "last show i went to see" memory....for a while at least.

you should go catch them live, if you are hungry for some kind of  fast and heavy music. It is hardcore by the book, but for me it's just heavy shit- that can save your life and be inspiring.

chinese store..

The Eastern culture always had a special place in my heart..so i found these great little statues of Chinese gods and symbolic figures of myth..you can never tell if it's religious entertainment or pop culture cheese.

nameday..

today was my nameday (march 24) gabe, gabriel, gabor..  it was really nice to keep old traditions..

had a nice dinner and dessert..

i took some sweet church pictures yesterday..walking and thinking about how we all capable of messing up every great things in life..also creating a fantastic journey for ourself..6th degree of separation, levitation..stuff like that..

the city was dark, noisy  and cloudy..do i have to say that i love it this way...

the heavily armed policemen are still weird on union square...

back in business

Well, I started paying again, with my old friend Gerry and his friend.

here are some photos i took, just to get the ball rollin..yes i love lights and there's nothing more precious when you can see the time slowing down..creating a picture in a  nanosecond that no one even notices..

i take about 100 pics a week, so there are plenty to pick from, but i only like a few..also most of them are poop:)
